Spring Luncheon Business Meeting on Wednesday, May 10th

AAUP-Utica members, save the date for Wednesday, May 10th, 2023 for our annual Spring Luncheon Business Meeting!

An agenda will be sent out on May 3rd, and will include the main business item, which is discussing and voting on the budget. We will also announce the winners of this year’s AAUP-Utica Student Scholarships, and discuss many other things. 

You can attend the spring business meeting either in person or virtually (same as last year). Please RSVP to AAUP-Utica Secretary, Jim Brown by May 3rd if you plan to attend in person since lunch will be provided. 

IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND IN PERSON:

Where:  Burrstone Inn Executive Conference Room

When:  11am-2pm

Lunch will be served from 11:30am-12:30pm

The business portion of the meeting will start shortly after 12:30pm and is projected to run until 2pm

What:  The menu will be the Italian Lunch Buffet (same as last year). There will be a vegetarian option.

When:  The Webex meeting will open at 12:30pm, after the in-person lunch has completed and the business portion of the meeting is set to begin. 

CBA Ratification Schedule

Today, November 21, 2016, we held our mandatory informational meeting for dues-paying members regarding the ratification of the tentatively approved Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Our next step is to have a ratification vote on the proposed CBA.

We will hold our ratification vote from December 5, 2016 – December 12, 2016.

The ballot will be electronic and sent to dues-paying members via e-mail on December 5, 2016 from BallotPoint Election Services.

Ratification of the proposed CBA requires approval by a majority vote of those voting.

Reminder: AAUP-UC General Membership Meeting this Wednesday, September 9 at 4:30pm

This is a reminder that we will have our first AAUP-UC general membership meeting of the 2015 fall semester this Wednesday, September 9, at 4:30pm in the Newman Center. 

This membership meeting is open to active (i.e. dues paying) AAUP-UC members. We will be discussing a number of important items, including the status of negotiations.

Refreshments (pizza & non-alcoholic beverages) will be available and this will also be a great chance to chat and unwind with your colleagues.
